An Inmate for death row have been Executed in Taiwan




Taipei, Taiwan- An inmate for death row was executed yesterday Aug. 31, 2018 in Kaoshuing. This was the first death execution since President Tsai Ing-wen of Taiwan took the office.

The man name Lee Hung-Chi was convicted last December 28, 2016 for stabbing his wife to death infront of kindergarten school where his daughter studying way back April 2014.



He also took suicide by burning his car together with his daugther in Jianshih Township in Hsinchu. Unfortunately his daughter was unable to survived and only Lee had survived after they were rushed to the hospital by rescuers.


Today there are 42 inmates in death row. The last execution had happened last May 10, 2016.
