Mount Jade and Hehuashan Predicted To Have First Snow Fall Of The Year


With the cold air mass flowing south that will have open areas with 13 to 14 degrees in temperature, Mount Jade (Yushan) and Hehuashan are predicted to have ssnow fall by next week.


A sub freezing point are forecast within the area, as Mount Jade to have first snow fall tonight (January 16). Hehuashan on the ither hand will have its snow fall by Monday or Tuesday, according to Weather Central Bureau of Taiwan.

With 3,592 meters above sea level, Mount Jade is the highest mountain in Taiwan. Nearby attractions are Yushan National Park which is near the famkus Alishan National Park.
