Outpour Of Passengers And Air Traffic At Taiwan Airport By Chinese New Year


The rush and surge of passengers at the Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan is expected this coming Lunar New Year (Chinese New Year) this February. An estimated volume of 140,000 daily specially on the last day of the holiday.


The airport also expecting a more than 800 plus flights per day starting January 30, 2019 up to February 13, 2019 as part of the nine day holiday.

Airport staffs are enhanced and request for additional, flights also add by a thousand to cater all the passengers on both local and international.

The airport assured that it has the ability to manage and handle air traffic and increase of passengers as they noted the public. Compared to last year, flights this Lunar New Year increased by 15%.
