Rising number of cases with measles infections is being feared in Taiwan

Taiwan's Centers for Disease Control warned the netizen against measles infection. Being feared to have an outbreak due to a rising number of patients in the country.

As of March 29, 2019, the number of patients increased to 41. And 19 of them are from outside the country.  Seven were from Vietnam, five from the Philippines, two from China, two from Thailand, and one each from Indonesia, Japan, and Myanmar.

CDC Deputy Director-General Lo Yi-Chun (羅一鈞) also advised those who will be traveling outside the country to take precautionary measure. They can either visit their doctors on whether they will obtain a vaccine. And all children between the ages of six months to one year should be vaccinated before traveling outside the country.

Meanwhile, some companies in Taiwan are already coordinating and consulting their workers whether they should also obtain a vaccine to prevent measles infection.
