8 Taiwan Companies To Open In Philippines And Will Create 13000 Jobs, Catcher Technology Included

Eight Taiwanese companies are preparing and to open their firms and investments in the Philippines, the eight businesses to stand in Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Subic in line with Southbound policy of Taiwan.

The 8 companies will create 13,000 jobs for Filipinos, a total of NT$280 million in investments will be used to develop the manufacturing plants in Subic. News reports the investment agreements were signed at the 2019 Philippine Business Forum in Taipei.

Companies are now looking for real estate while others plan to have their operations underway by the end of 2019. The largest investor is FTI Holdings Group that manufactures bags, backpacks, luggage and other apparels.

Other businesses includes component manufacturer Catcher Technology, Grey Matter Industries that manufacture plastic products and Rong Shing Industrial company that produce lawn and garden tool products.
