Filipinos Gets The Majority Of Workers In Electronics and Technology Industry Of Taiwan

On a released report, there are over 60% of Filipino migrant workers in Taiwan that works at the electronics and technology sector of the country and a lot of Taiwanese companies are shifting productions from China to Philippines.

According to an official of the Institute for Economic Research of Taiwan, it is said that Filipinos has the largest group employed to Taiwanese technology companies.

There are about 122,000 total Overseas Filipino Workers in Taiwan, where most Filipinos work in semiconductor, electronics, computer manufacturing and other technology sector as Filipinos are major workforce.

Taiwan has low investment in the Philippines with only 3% unlike the less democratic government of Vietnam that has 1/3 of investment of Taiwan. Although the current Southbound Policy of Taiwan somehow increased its investment to the Philippines.
