Philippine Police Rescued Taiwanese National In Manila


Philippine police had rescued a Taiwanese national who had been kidnapped by two Chinese men in a hotel in Metro Manila according to Criminal Investigation Bureau, reported by CNA (Photo from CI).

The investigation bureau coordinated with the Philippine police after they received a call from the friend of the victim. The 22 year old Taiwanese victim had located by the Philippine authorities and rescued him as the Chinese national were detained.


The Taiwanese national took P200,000 of gambling chip from loan shark casino, after losing all money he was handcuffed and taken at the hotel according to investigations.

The suspects’ modus is to offer loan service to a losing casino player then detains the borrower if they fails to pay. The Chinese nationals are facing serious illegal detention and physical injuries charges.
