Another Pinay worker in Hong Kong has been quarantined due to Wuhan coronavirus


The Philippine Consulate in Hongkong has confirmed this February 5, 2020, that another Filipinas was quarantined in the Holiday Village. This was after her employer who is 72 year old women has been infected domestically.

According to the Hong Kong Health Department, One of the residents that live in Block 1,  Site 11, Whampoa Garden has been tested positive for Wuhan coronavirus. For security reasons, the family including the domestic helper were quarantined in Lei Yue Mun Park and Holiday Village.

According to the authorities, only the old woman shows symptoms of the virus, while the rest has in good condition but still needs to undergo a couple of days screening.

This the second time to have a Pinay worker who has been quarantined. Last January 25, the first Pinay had been quarantined after she and her employer had traveled to Wuhan, China.
