The problem with plastics is they do not easily degrade. They may break down, but only into smaller pieces. The smaller those pieces get, the more places they can go.

Plastic bottles lying in the gutter. Grocery bags tangled in branches. Food wrappers scuttling across the ground on a windy day. Although such examples of litter easily come to mind, they only hint at the serious and growing problem of plastic pollution

Plastic takes a hundred years to break down, as a result, it compromises about 3/4 of the world's garbage and continues to destroy the environment, approximately eight million metric tons of plastic enters earth oceans every year despite these efforts so scientist all over the world is striving to find a better solution to reducing waste

Well the answer to this problem might have been discovered by a Filipino inventor, not only was he able to break down the plastic but he was also able to turn it into diesel, gasoline, and kerosene, the procedure is being credited to Jayme Navarro

the Filipino inventor finds a way to convert it not just reusable in reusable form but to fuel here are the invention and the mind behind it

in Rodriguez Rizal plastic is being collected and put it to good use, the plastic goes to a conveyor where they broke down into smaller pieces and reduce to powder form, once strained they are melted in reactor machine and converted to diesel, kerosene, and gasoline via the process of distillation. Filipino inventor Jaime Navarro is credited for discovering this technology while his engineer children design to use in the plant

Jaime Navaro said, "actually it is accidentally known because on my mind I just  wanted to return it to original form as into virgin material but it turns to liquid that turns into diesel, this is 5 pesos cheaper than the price outside the market"

Ana Po the president of poly green technology and resources said
"with this technology, we can significantly reduce the volume of scattered plastic in the land field and turn them into valuable aset as diesel, gasoline, and kerosene"

two tons of plastic produce 8 drums or 1,600 litters per day which then sold at 4,000 per tons or 4 pesos per kilo the product are use in the big factory and can also be used in vehicle.

"so far okay for almost three months, so far no problem at all," Ana Po said

the department of science and techology and department of energy recommended the Navarro family invention which now has a patent with intellectual property office

Although the discovery still has a long way to go before it  to the market, the department of  science and technology are excited about the discovery meanwhile, the Navarro family has already secured the patent for it.
