Why Is There No Jollibee In Taiwan?

Filipinos and OFW in Taiwan today are wondering why there is no Jollibee in the country. With the global popularity of the said food chain and the influx of Filipinos in Taiwan it will be surely a hit.

Reports from the past states that the business only accounted for less than 1% of Jollibee Food Corporation's global sales. That is why they pulled out the popular Filipino food chain in Taiwan and want to focus more in the biggest market.

Flipping the other side of the coin, rumor said international fast food station wants Jollibee to get out of Taiwan because it gets a lot of customers.

JFC has the largest food service network in the Philippines, which includes Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, Mang-Inasal, Red Ribbon, Delifrance and others. It has more than 1,500 stores in the Philippines.

  1. It failed terribly because first there are not a lot of Filipinos living in Taipei. 2nd, the Taiwanese prefer savory noodles , that time only the sweet spaghetti was sold, 3rd, the Taiwanese already has a very poupular fast-food called TKK so chicken joy wasn’t any special. Finally they prefer McDonald’s or Burger King burgers.

    1. Most of the Filipino workers live/work outside of Taipei.
