According to the Ministry of Economics Affairs there has been an approved amount of NT $ 21.6 billion (US $ 720 million) from two companies investing as part of a government program with the aim of boosting local companies' investment in Taiwan where possible  create 1,606 jobs.

According to MOEA's InvesTaiwan Service Center, the company Super Micro Computer Inc., Taiwan which operates overseas as Supermicro plans to invest NT $ 20 billion to build a high-end research and development center server and  software development facilities, expand warehouse and logistics center and increase automated assembly lines.  The company plans to hire 1,700 employees related to the research and development areas.

Supermicro is an information technology company.  It is based in Silicon Valley, California built in 1993 by Taiwanese-American Charles Liang as a manufacturer of computer server boards, power supplies, and the server and wide range of other components.  This company is also one of the largest players in the server boards market.

Sunrise Plastics Industries Co.  Ltd., which produces IC packaging trays and memory card lids, has more than NT $ 1.6 billion invested in investment to build a new manufacturing plant and automated assembly lines that are expected to create 47 jobs.

Meanwhile, in addition to Innolux Corp., the fourth largest flat panel manufacturer to receive green light to invest NT $ 70.1 billion in Taiwan under another government plan to encourage entrepreneurs  Taiwanese to invest in Taiwan.

Miaoli-based companies have plans to build new manufacturing facilities in Hsinchu and Tainan and want to streamline manufacturing processes using artificial intelligence, with the aim of automating most production lines.

From China, the Innolux company plans to move their other production back to Taiwan and build a new assembly line on television in Tainan, according to the InvestTaiwan Service Center.

Currently, the total investment amount promised under the program to encourage Taiwanese Companies operating overseas to invest will reach NT $ 697.1 billion which is forecast to create a total of 56,294 shares.  foreign worker.
