Explore the historical monument of The National Revolutionary Martyr's Shrine

 Do you love sights with architecture and monuments? Try to visit The National Revolutionary Martyr's Shrine it is located in Zhongshan District, Taipei Taiwan. This shrine was built to honor the fallen Kuomintang soldiers after the Chinese Civil War. The front of the gate is guarded by active ROC military personnel, and visitors are welcome to observe the changing of the guard. Good to see here is the changing of the guards, as they are so nice to see, the ceremony takes place in the hour between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm and the guard is still standing, and good to know that there is no entrance fee here.

 The beautiful scenery here at the shrine, is fine architecture, Chinese history and the dramatic changing of the honor guard at the shrine. Visitors are allowed to take a picture when the ceremony is completed and the guard is standing still. The shrine was built to honor about 390,000 Chinese Soldiers who died during the war of resistance against Japan. If you want to stay there, they are nearby hotels and eateries and attractions like Shilin Market and the Taipei Fine Arts Museum. So it will be worth your while to visit Martyr's Shrine with great views around and you will learn a lot about the history of the shrine.

How to get there: *MRT👉Bus
-From MRT R Jiantan station, leave Exit 1 and go to the bus stop to the right side( busses heading south). Take bus 267,556,902 or 3 to Martyr's Shrine.
